I notice that kids nowadays are sleeping late maybe because of watching too much T.V. waiting for their (or maybe the parents) favorite T.V. show, playing a game on their tablets (courtesy of ehem...parents again..it was a birthday gift) or just too much homework. Still it is best to practice or have a routine wherein kids especially the young ones sleep early. In that way, kids will be more refresh and will have enough energy to go to school and do their (fun or tedious) task inside their classroom. They will be able to think clearly and be more alert rather than sluggish and sleepy inside their room. In connection, they will be able to absorb all the lessons for the day and acquire new knowledge.
So for the parents out there, make sure your child sleep early. It is beneficial not only becuase they have school the next day but to their overall development in health and growth. As for the teachers don't give a mountain of a homework that will require them to answer for hours and hours. Let the kids enjoy their evening. Let them have a goodnight sleep!
